Land trip minimum deposit of 50% must be paid in full at the time of booking. As an exclusive small group food and wine journey, a reservation is not guaranteed until Culinary Passport (CP) receives payment. Remaining payment of 50% of the land trip cost is due 120 days prior to the expected departure. Failure to make the final payment will result in forfeiture of the entire deposit.
Cancellations & Cancellation Fees
All cancellations must be advised in writing. The following per person cancellation fees apply:
- 91+ days prior to departure: 50% refund
- Within 90 days of departure: no refund
- “Departure day” is considered the date CP services begin
Passports & Visas
A valid passport is required of all program participants. It must be valid at least six months after date of return to the U.S. The name on your reservation must match the name on your passport. Non-U.S. citizens must consult with the appropriate consulates to determine if any visas are needed.
It is suggested that all passengers, regardless of the passport they hold, check with the appropriate consulates of the countries being visited to determine if any visas are needed. Securing any needed visas is the responsibility of the passenger.
Program Prices
Program prices are per person, based upon two persons sharing a room. There is a surcharge for single occupancy. All prices are based upon rates (including foreign exchange rates) known at the time of the booking. Prices, including taxes and fees, are subject to increase without notice, if such rates change prior to departure.
If the total price increases by more than 10% on our hosted food and wine journeys, you may cancel within 7 days after we notify you of the increase. Costs include items listed under your CP invoice. Rates do not include items outside the land itinerary such as airfare, gratuities (unless noted), additional meals, beverages, insurance, telephone calls, resort fees, laundry service, passport and visa fees and other miscellaneous charges (except where specifically listed under your CP land trip description.)
Itinerary Variations
If the minimum number of participants is not achieved, this trip is subject to change, cancellation, or subject to incur a price increase.
Terms and Conditions
If the trip is cancelled by Culinary Passport due to lack of participants or other reason, a full refund of payments received for itinerary land cost will be issued.
If program improvements can be made or if unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary, we reserve the right to vary itineraries, substitute hotels, and/or change travel dates. At certain peak periods, duplicate departures may operate and sometimes in reverse order, in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
